Getting Started
Esta página aún no está disponible en tu idioma.
Sometimes knowing where to begin is the hardest part about getting started. Here we will try and give you a list of things that we recommend doing first, to make sure you get the most out of your Social WiFi subscription.
Online Reviews
You will want to make sure that you’re happy with the settings of your online review gathering features and that the email and landing pages look on point.
Navigate to the Review System section of the dashboard and click through the tabs to check settings and content.
All Review System documentation is linked here, but below are some more specific articles of what we recommend you do and check.
Configuring the review system Change your review email and score styleAdding Dashboard Users
You probably have a team that need access to the Social WiFi dashboard. You can easily add users at no cost. We’re not billing you based on the amount of dashboard users you have.
First its helpful to understand what is a Project and what is a Venue and how they interact.
Now you know that, you can add new users to have the relevant access and permission level. Just navigate to the Permissions tab and its easy from there.
Configuring your WiFi Network
Without doing this, there will be no data to capture, no emails to send and no value to you having the service. Its important that your IT Manager or contractor helps you with this if you don’t know what equipment you have in your WiFi network.
You will find all of Social WiFi’s documentation for supported hardware in this Academy and you will need to have access to the settings controller to make the required changes.
If you do not have supported hardware, we have some recommendations on hardware to consider purchasing and installing. More often than not, we will suggest purchasing a MikroTik router though as its the most flexible and cost effective way forward.
Setup An Automated Marketing Email
Now that users are logging in and we’re capturing their data, we can automate the sending of an email to them after their login (or based on many other rules).
Send an email after the first login
Send an email after X visits Send an email if somebody hasn’t visited in so longThere are more automation rules, but these are good ones to start with and the others will become clear when you explore these.
Also consider using our templates and AI content creator too…

Downloading your User Databases
After a while, you’ll want to get the data that has been captured through the Social WiFi login system.

But, if you have a CRM that we have an integration with, you can save the time and effort of downloading Excel files and just have the data pushed to your CRM automatically.
CRM Integrations and DocumentationIf you have a CRM that we don’t integrate with, we do have Webhooks and a Developer API for you to use.
