Can you use unverified user data for marketing purposes?
Yes! It is possible to use unverified user data gathered by Social WiFi, however this is disabled by default due to this data being of lower quality than Verified User Data.
To enable the usage of Unverified User Data, go to Settings > Features and enable the “Use unverified user data” option at the bottom of the list. Turning this option on will allow email message to be sent to the users from the list, as well as push this data to Integrated systems via API (if an integration is active).
Please keep in mind that this data is not validated, meaning that we cannot be certain that the owner of this email visited your venue. Deliverability and open rate to these Unverified Users will usually be lower than for Verified User Data.
