WhatsApp Pricing
Sending WhatsApp messages isn’t free, but it is significantly cheaper than SMS. Read below to understand how the pricing structure works.
How much will I pay?
When using the WhatsApp integration, there are two types of costs:
- $25/month billed by Social WiFi for access to the WhatsApp integration
- Per-message fees billed directly by Meta (the owner of WhatsApp)
Our pricing explainer PDF provides a detailed overview of the cost structure.
WhatsApp Pricing ExplainerHow will Social WiFi bill me?
We will add the $25/month fee to your next invoice. This is a flat fee that does not depend on the size of your business or the number of messages you send or receive.
For the first three months, Social WiFi will not charge any additional fees for using the integration.
How will Meta bill me?
Meta charges per message sent. Receiving messages is free. Meta will bill you directly using the payment method you configured during the initial setup.
The cost of sending a message depends on:
- the category of the message
- the country calling code of the recipient’s WhatsApp phone number
Social WiFi uses two message categories:
- Authentication – used when a user logs in to verify their phone number
- Marketing – all other messages sent through automations or bulk campaigns
For exact pricing by country, please refer to Meta’s official documentation: https://business.whatsapp.com/products/platform-pricing
