Setting up your first AnyDesk session
This guide assumes that you already have AnyDesk installed, if not, go to:
Note: __ if the device that’s going to be configured happens to be a MikroTik device, make sure that the WinBox software is installed:
- Make sure that your internet connection is stable. The best way to assure the stable connection is plugging in with the Ethernet cable.
- Make sure that you’re logged in on your computer. When the session takes place, the device is configured on your local computer which is accessed through AnyDesk. The access to the whole operating system is necessary.
As soon as you log in, you should see this window:
- 1.Your Address - if you want to set up a session with someone, just give them this address. It should be 9 digits long.
- 2.Remote Desk - here you have to enter the address if it's you that wants to establish the session with someone.
If you've done everything correctly, you should have your session established by pressing the Connect button. If someone is calling you, the pop up window should appear:
By clicking the green "Accept" button the session should start.
